The Ballet Educator’s Summer Training Lab
Three focused Labs. One summer. You choose your path.
June 15 – July 25, 2026
You're in the Right Place If…
-
You're ready to move beyond tradition and teach with intention, not just the way you were taught.
-
Your dancers aren't retaining what you teach week to week, and you're not sure why.
-
You don't have a real curriculum, just classes you plan as you go and hope something sticks.
-
You want to build progressions that actually develop dancers across months & years, not just get through the week.
-
Something's off with how you're physically preparing your dancers → you can feel it, but you don't know what to change.
-
You want to integrate strength & conditioning into your studio without turning ballet class into a gym session.
-
You don't just want more content to watch alone; you want someone in your corner while you apply it.
-
You're committed to evolving your teaching and you're finally ready to do something about it.
If you nodded at even one of those.. you're exactly who STL was built for.
What Is the Summer Training Lab?

The Summer Training Lab is Ballet Reeducation's flagship professional development experience for ballet educators & 2026 is its most focused, most intentional version yet.

This is not your typical dance teacher workshop. STL is built around masters-level research in educational psychology, curriculum design, and applied dance science, made practical and applied directly to your actual classes, your actual students, and your actual studio context.
Here's what makes it different: nothing here is handed to you as a finished product.
STL is built to be scaffolding — a research-grounded framework you build from, not a prescriptive system you follow. The content gives you the structure. You bring the context. What you walk away with is yours & it's shaped by your program, your dancers, and your teaching philosophy.

This year STL runs as 3 standalone Labs. Each one a complete experience built around a specific focus. You don't complete a large workload. You choose the path that meets you where you are this summer and go deep on that.
Delivered over 6 weeks from June 15 through July 25, 2026, STL blends self-paced learning with live cohort check-ins, direct coaching, and peer connection.
You're not learning in isolation; you're building alongside other educators doing this same work with the same level of seriousness.

STL is where ballet educators stop guessing & start building → a practice rooted in how people actually learn, how bodies actually work, and how great teaching actually happens.
What You’ll Walk Away With:
These aren't just lessons. They're lasting upgrades to your teaching practice.

✅ A teaching framework grounded in how people actually learn
Not tradition for tradition's sake, but evidence-based pedagogy, motor learning, and human-centered instruction built directly into how you plan and deliver class.
✅ A curriculum and planning system built for your program
Progressions that develop dancers across months and years, lesson plans connected to clear objectives, and a seasonal structure that tells you where your dancers are going and how to get them there.
✅ The scientific literacy to make better decisions in the studio
Functional anatomy, conditioning principles, and recovery frameworks introduced in an educator-first way, so you can train dancers smarter without needing a background in sports or educational science.
✅ The confidence to stop winging it and teach with purpose
No more copying a syllabus handed to you years ago. You'll finish STL with systems you built, backed by research, and designed for the dancers in front of you right now.
STL isn't a curriculum you complete. It's a focus you choose.
Each Lab is a complete, standalone experience.

WHAT EDUCATORS ARE SAYING
From educators who've been in the room.
Laura D.
Foundations Lab 2025 Participant
After a lesson in Foundations Lab I got inspired & set up the dance room in 4 stations, with an assistant being the "expert" at each one. I felt like we covered so much material... it was even easier on me as the teacher! It was a win-win, and I'm excited to try this strategy in all of my levels this fall.
Paige O.
Foundations Lab 2025 Participant
This is giving me better language and ways of thinking in order to come alongside my students who have mental blocks and give them real encouragement while helping them reframe what IS possible.
Maggie H.
Foundations Lab 2025 Participant
One of the major standout moments — a quiet, reserved dancer felt comfortable enough to ask another dancer a question. She NEVER would have raised her hand in front of the whole class, but in a small group felt safe enough to do that. Really impactful.

FAQs
Do I need to do all three Labs at once? That sounds like a lot.
Absolutely not! That's actually one of the biggest design principles of STL 2026.
You choose a focus, not a workload. Most participants choose one Lab based on where they most want to grow this summer and go deep on that. If you purchase a bundle, you have full access to the other Labs, but the expectation is that you engage most deeply with the one most relevant to you right now. Think of it as owning the full library while reading the book you need most this season.
Do I need to take the Labs in a specific order?
No. Each Lab is completely standalone. Choose based on your most urgent need right now — you don't need any of them to succeed in another. Browse each Lab page to see what is the best fit for you!
I want to improve my teaching, but I’m not sure I have the time this summer. Will I fall behind?
This training is built for real dance educators with real schedules. All courses are completely self-paced with short, focused lessons you can watch on your own time. Whether you commit 20 minutes a day or work through content on weekends, the framework adapts to you, not the other way around. Plus, Lab live check-ins are weekly and recorded so you never miss the learning.
I've taken workshops before and didn't retain anything. How is this different?
STL is built around application, not consumption.
The content acts as scaffolding — a research-grounded framework you build from, not a system you're handed and expected to follow. You'll get tools that are immediately usable in your actual classes, backed by educational psychology, SEL, and dance science. What you walk away with is shaped by your program, your dancers, and your teaching context.
What if I’m not super familiar with dance science, anatomy, or SEL?
That's exactly why this program exists. These topics are introduced in an accessible, educator-first way! You'll gain clarity and confidence without needing a background in kinesiology or therapy. You'll walk away with a solid grasp of how to integrate these tools into ballet classes with intention.
What if I can’t afford to pay all at once?
Payment plans are available through Klarna and Afterpay — you'll see this option at checkout. Money should never be a determinant of quality professional development.
So, still unsure or in financial need? Send us a message at info@balletreeducation.com and we'll walk you through your options.
What makes Mastermind Collective different from just attending the Lab check-in calls?
The Lab check-in calls are content-driven — synthesis, Q&A, and group momentum specific to each Lab. Mastermind Collective is a coaching relationship on top of that. You get a dedicated weekly group coaching call completely separate from the Lab check-ins, a personal weekly Slack voice memo response from Austin, and direct feedback on your actual teaching challenges, not generic advice for a general audience. The coaching is context-agnostic: it's about you as an educator, not about content delivery.
When does enrollment close?
June 12, 2026 at 11:59 pm (PT). The program begins June 15 — there is no late enrollment.
