Delivered as a 6-week, community-based learning experience, the Summer Training Lab blends self-paced learning with collaborative workshops, coaching, and peer connection—so you're learning with others, not in isolation.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn directly from leading dance industry expertsincluding dance nutritionists, physical therapists, and dance psychologists—who bring specialized insight into dancer wellness and performance.

What You’ll Walk Away With:

These aren’t just lessons. They’re lasting upgrades to your teaching practice.

✅ A modern ballet pedagogy that supports real learning

Grounded in educational psychology and scaffolding methods, so your students actually understand, retain, and apply what you teach.

✅ Lesson plans that are intentional, adaptable, and rooted in clear objectives

You’ll build weekly and unit-length plans using proven structures that align with how dancers learn—not just what’s “traditionally taught.”

✅ A leveled curriculum map tailored to your studio’s realities

You’ll design progressions that spiral across age and level. No more teaching random steps without purpose or developmental alignment.

✅ Tools to integrate dance science without being a specialist

Learn how to introduce concepts like motor learning, muscle engagement, and recovery into your class without overwhelming your dancers (or yourself).

✅ A strategic seasonal structure that balances rigor and rest

Know when to push, when to taper, and how to pace your training across semesters using a sustainable model rooted in athletic periodization.

✅ Supportive coaching & collaboration not isolation

Through workshops, masterminds, and optional post-program support, you’ll be surrounded by dance educators building better classrooms together.

✅ The confidence to stop winging it & start teaching with purpose

No more copying the syllabus given to you 15 years ago. You'll finish with systems you designed, backed by research, and shaped for the students in front of you.

Each tier builds on the one before it.
So no matter where you begin you’re building a complete, supported practice.

FRQs

I want to improve my teaching, but I’m not sure I have the time this summer. Will I fall behind?

Nope, this training is built for real ballet educators with real schedules.
All courses are completely self-paced with short, powerful lessons you can watch on your own time. Whether you commit 20 minutes a day or binge-watch on weekends, the framework adapts to you—not the other way around.

And if you're joining Curriculum Lab or Mentorship Lab, our live group sessions are held once a week & recorded so you never miss the learning.

I’ve taken workshops before and didn’t retain anything. How is this different?

We don’t do “fluff.”
All courses are built around application, reflection, and transformation. You’ll get tools that are immediately usable in your class, like editable lesson plan templates, reflection prompts, cueing strategies, and student engagement tactics. Plus, everything is rooted in modern pedagogy, SEL, and dance science—not tradition for tradition’s sake.

What if I’m not super familiar with dance science, anatomy, or SEL?

That’s exactly why I created this program!
This is a space where you’ll be introduced to these topics in an accessible, educator-first way. You’ll gain clarity and confidence—without needing a background in kinesiology or therapy. You’ll walk away with a solid grasp of how to integrate these tools into ballet classes with intention.

What if I can’t afford to pay all at once?

You don’t have to!   We offer flexible payment plans through Klarna and Afterpay so you can spread out the cost in smaller, interest-free payments. You’ll see this option when you go to checkout—just choose your preferred provider and follow the steps.

Still unsure? Send us a message at info@balletreeducation.com and we’ll walk you through your options.

Do I have to complete Foundations Lab before joining Curriculum Lab?

Not at all.   You’re welcome to join either based on where you are in your teaching journey. Foundations Lab focuses on modern pedagogy, psychology, and class design. Curriculum Lab is about mapping long-term, level-based progressions for your studio or class structure.

If you want the full transformation, Tier 2 gives you access to both at a discounted bundle rate + you get the 2nd component of "Teaching Smarter" -- the Dance Science implementation course!

How long do I have access to the materials?

For life!  Once you enroll you’ll have lifetime access to the video lessons and resources, including any updates made to the course content.

Tier 4 participants will also receive 1-year access to the exclusive Dance Ed Tips resource vault.

Imagine This…

  • You walk into class with an evidence-based plan, not just a playlist.

  • Your students are engaged and motivated, asking questions because they feel safe doing so.

  • You’ve got tools that work—rooted in dance science, Social-Emotional Learning, and real experience.

  • You're part of a movement reshaping ballet into something sustainable, inspiring, and human.
