About
Most ballet educators were trained in a system that treated the body as something to push & if it broke, that was the dancer's problem. Teaching Smarter Lab exists to change that. Co-taught with Delaney Mena, NASM-certified dance specialist, this Lab gives you the scientific literacy to evaluate what traditional training is actually asking of your dancers' bodies, and the practical frameworks to make evidence-based decisions in every class and across every season. Over 4 modules you'll build a foundational understanding of functional anatomy and muscle physiology, learn the Funnel Framework for integrating strength and conditioning into a weekly ballet schedule, use Nutcracker as a real-world periodization case study, and walk away with a personalized action plan built for your specific studio context. You don't need a background in sports science. You need to be curious about your dancers' bodies & ready to train them smarter, not just harder.
